Good evening Viking families. Sarris Candy forms were sent home last week with students for the Viking Parents' fundraiser. Please note that the forms incorrectly have 2 codes on them: the correct code is 12-1705 (it says Middle but is for both schools). Everything else should be accurate! Have a great evening!

Congratulations to our Vikings who participated in the Regional Science Fair! Cole Brown and Ethan Sparks earned 2nd Place in the Behavior and Social Science category. Teegan Racine placed 2nd in the Technology category. Maverick Flanegin and Carson Miller earned 2nd Place in the Physics and Astronomy category. Great work!

Congratulations to our January SAIL Role Models of the Month!! These students have demonstrated how to be Safe, Accountable, Independent, and Learners!! Way to Go Vikings!!! We are so proud of you!! Keep up the great work!

It’s National School Counselors Week, and we’re so grateful to have the best counselor team! A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Arensberg and Mrs. Lewis for their hard work and dedication to our Vikings!

Let's recognize our Viking scholars who earned academic honors and those with perfect attendance in the second quarter! Great work! None of this would be possible without our dedicated, supportive families!

Dear Viking Families,
As we approach Valentine's Day and other celebrations, we would like to kindly remind everyone that due to health and allergy concerns, food treats are not permitted to be sent to school for other students. This policy aligns with our county’s guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Mr. Demarest

Families are invited to join us for a brief SAIL Assembly on Wednesday, February 12th, recognizing our Vikings' efforts and achievements from the 1st semester. Kindergarten-2nd grade will begin at 1:30pm and grades 3-5 will begin at 2:15. Guests are welcome to attend in the Warwood Middle Gym.

Hi Viking families,
We have been informed of a minor accident involving a school bus this afternoon. No students were on the bus and we believe no one was injured. Bus 10 and Bus 28 may be running behind schedule, but they are on their way! Have a great evening!

Congratulations to Addison, who took home the gold today, and Cole, who placed second and will serve as the alternate for the OCS Spelling Bee!
Huge shoutout to Mrs. Trimmier, Mrs. Williams, and Mr. Garber for judging today’s bee, and Mrs. Puglisi for announcing!

Our RED (Read Every Day) Folder team brought a special guest to our Viking classrooms this week! The Wild Thing reminded students how importance practice is for baseball players and for reading. Keep reading, Vikings, and earn a ticket to a Wild Things game!

Good evening Viking Families!
The weather looks like it may cooperate to return to school tomorrow. If so, here are two reminders if students are in the building (delay or regular day!):
1) Social Studies Fair will begin in the morning (students report directly to Maker Space with projects). Family and friends would be invited to view projects from 4:45-5:45 pm.
2) Spelling Bee will begin at 2:00 pm in the middle school gym. Families of participants are invited to attend.
Hoping to see our students in the morning! Thanks
