Friday was a big day for our Math Department.
We wrapped up our Pi-Day Spirit Week with many of our math teachers doing Pi-Day themed lessons. Thanks to Mrs. Moore for organizing this week each year!
We also had Kerri Crews, Elizabeth Jeffers and Jack Kaniecki present their M3T project using debate cards to encourage discussion and reasoning in the math classroom. At the end of their presentation they discovered the cohost of the Debate Math podcast who created the cards used in the project attended the presentation. They were happy to receive Rob Beier’s feedback on the presentation and offer for future collaboration.

School counselors took over 80 students to Wheeling Hospital today for health sciences career exploration. We are so thankful to WVU Medicine for their hospitality!

In an abundance of caution, we have chosen to postpone All About Park until next Thursday, February 27th. We are still really excited to see all of our incoming 8th graders and hope you can join us next week.
