Opening Day for the WPHS Greenhouse is Wednesday, May 1!
Representatives from four branches of the military stopped by Park during all 3 lunches for our 4th annual Military Fair to talk with students about opportunities for their future. They’ll be back again Thursday for our 2nd Signing Day Ceremony.
The Astronomy Club visited the United States Air and Space Museum in Dayton last week.
Mr. Leffe, Ms. Templeton, and their students had a great time touring the museum!
Senior Photo has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 24 at 7:30 a.m. in the Gym.

Tickets are now on sale! You can purchase your tickets online at https://wphswv.booktix.net/, in the Main Office, or with Mrs. Nelson in room 207. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for non-OCS students, and FREE for OCS Students.
As you may know we originally planned SAT Test Day for 10th & 11th graders for this Wednesday, April 10. However, due to the lost instructional days with last week’s flooding, we have decided that it is in the best interest of our students to push the test to Monday, April 15. This will provide our Math & English departments time to do final review and test preparations with our students.
I will continue to do reminders as we get closer, but please note:
9th grade – Will participate in a variety of activities including Stop the Bleed training with WVU Medicince
10th grade – All students are required to take PSAT. We will have make-up testing on Thursday, April 18.
11th grade – All students are required to take the SAT. We will have make-up testing on Thursday, April 18.
12th grade – Students should participate in Patriot Day of Caring. Information on this was shared today and forms can be found on Schoology.
The Governor’s Computer Science Institute (GCSI) offers students practical experience in computer science, coding, and programming to solve real-world problems.
